Intervet launches EquineSpeak
7 May 2008

Featuring a wide range of seasonal topics, EquineSpeak follows the success of VetSpeak and FarmSpeak for small animal and livestock vets. Sent to qualifying practices by electronic mail, the launch issue includes articles of particular relevance to horse owners during the summer months – exotic diseases and summer fly control – together with a range of informative ‘News In Brief’ style snippets.
The bi-monthly service is the latest business development initiative from Intervet to help dramatically improve communication between vets and their clients. The company has also recently rolled out its practice printing tool, Chameleon, to equine practices to help quickly and efficiently personalise the content of client communications including booster reminder cards and letters.
Chameleon is an internet-based service that quickly and efficiently personalises the content of client communications utilising vet practice pictures, photographs and text. Details can also be personalised by mail merging both the client and horse details onto the card or letter which can then be proofed online, printed and delivered within 72 hours.
Tim Zoch, senior product manager at Intervet UK Ltd, comments: “Better communication between vets and their clients is essential in generating repeat business. EquineSpeak joins Chameleon as a new support initiative within our business development portfolio to help equine practices keep their clients up-to-date with topical horse health and welfare issues.”
