BVD meeting timetable announced
17 January 2008
Intervet is inviting vets to attend one of seven BVD (bovine viral diarrhoea) meetings running from early February to early March. The meetings, which are open to all Bovilis® BVD users, are free to attend and will promote best practice in terms of BVD control, as well as discussing eradication and the economic impact of BVD infection.
Some of the most recent findings and information, including a 5-point plan for control, which were presented at a recent Intervet international BVD symposium will be discussed by vet Keith Cutler, of Endell Veterinary Group who attended the conference.
Chris Watson of the Wood Vet Group will discuss managing active infection and measuring the economic effects of subclinical infection. He will also look at BVD from a business perspective.
Full speaker notes will be supplied to delegates, and the meetings will run from 4-8pm, concluding with supper and an opportunity to discuss running individual practice meetings for clients.
