Nobilis Salenvac T is a combined inactivated vaccine for the active immunisation of chickens against the 2 major salmonella threats to public health – Salmonella enteritidis phage type 4, and Salmonella typhimurium DT 104. Most breeder flocks in the chicken industry, through Assured Chicken Production, are vaccinated against salmonella. Similarly, layers are vaccinated to comply with the Lion code. Salenvac T offers the broadest protection available against salmonellosis in poultry.

Salenvac T is the first and only multivalent salmonella vaccine for poultry. It combines the S. enteritidis (sero-group D) fraction from the original Salenvac with S. typhimurium (serogroup B). For broiler breeders, it is absolutely vital to passively protect the meat that is sold, and only Salenvac is proven to passively transfer maternal antibodies to protect the chicks1. Also, Salenvac T’s unique advanced IRP vaccine technology allows for maximum protection against both serogroup B & D salmonellae.
