Respiratory disease is the most economically significant health problem facing young beef and dairy calves. Some of the most common and important viruses and bacteria that cause pneumonia in calves have been combined in the vaccine Bovipast® RSP. Uniquely, this vaccine can be used from approximately two weeks of age, and can be boosted later if required.
Lungworm infection causes a disease known as husk which is one of the most common causes of respiratory disease in young or adult dairy cattle. Preventative measures taken early, in the form of vaccination with Bovilis® Huskvac, can prevent the disease from having an impact on herd health and performance.
